Common Boating Violations

  • Alcohol on the river is PROHIBITED

  • All vessels on the river are REQUIRED to have one life jacket per person

  • All of the Weeki Wachee River is a NO WAKE ZONE

Springs Protection Zone

Vessel operators are prohibited from anchoring, mooring, beaching, or grounding a vessel within the Weeki Wachee River Springs Protection Zone.
Violators are subject to a $140 fine.
